To be fair Monaco was one of the more interesting races this year. And I don't know if this is a good sign...

So what do you guys think about the Hamilton 3 place grid penalty given for blocking kimi?

Because I find it weird that Russel doesn't get a penalty either then. Since he blocked kvyatt way more dangerously and didn't even try to get out of the way really.

I don't understand the rules anymore. Some rules shouldn't be in there

Going strictly by the rules, the penalty is correct and dont think anyone can deny it (It clearly hampered with Kimi's lap). It's just that they are sometimes so inconsistent with these.

I'm guessing the "three grid place" penalty is just there to make it so they can give the penalty points on his licence. Don't think the grid penalty is actually meant to do anything there. In RAI/HAM's case the grid places actually matter (Also RAI had to go for another hotlap, meaning he doesn't have a fresh set of softs left for the race).

Also the big difference betweem the two is, Russell wasn't warned about Gasly by the team (Like they should do), while Hamilton was clearly told twice that there are two Alfas on a fast lap coming behind. Iirc Hamilton even tried to deny this radio traffic in post quali interview LUL
