They are probably perfectly aware how much money they would lose. There are lots of players who stopped playing WoT and have gold left on their account, or players with more gold than they can spend.
The best thing you can do now, is not buying anything until they unify it.

Btw, NA server received part of the next patch already, people extracted the ship models for german ships for example

Patch content was released already on EU. If you check in the folders you can find all ships too And something else
