What's the ruling actually? If you fit a completely new front wing does it have to be identical to the one you used in qualifying?

Excuse me, he's German

its a real pitty for leclerc, vettel is a becoming a nub and I dont see him winning this championship if leclerc is on this level already. Was a fun race tho, cuz of the mid pack. I really like how that improved now, the gap to the top did get smaller, and the game between the mid cars is getting better and better, also nice to see that one of the top cars is now also in the midpack :^)

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvqhrELAFEa ... c84xhbywwv also this is a thing. But I don't know how seriously to take that as they probably just made a car that is corresponding to the idea of the rules. While IRL the engineers just find the edge of the rules as long as its best for their car. But could be that the loss even though it might not be 5% is probably way better than they have now anyway

Spoiler:
Leclerc: MGU-H (=turbo deaded); Vettel: Spun while being overtaken by Hamilton

Ham: See above

Ferrari replaced the wrong driver.

Also how do you think Ricciardo is feeling after leaving RB partly because unreliability issues?

Vettels spin was only partly at fault on him being 5th, if it was only the spin, he probably would've been 3rd, or even 2nd. His front wing literally went "fuck this shit I'm out" during the straight because of the spin creating massive flatspots and vibrating (resonance) the whole thing off causing a need for extra pit.

Shame for Leclerc, but when Ham got past him I was sorta happy that he was slow enough that also Bottas could pass him and retain the WC lead.

Also loin probably missed the best Bahrain race of this era, there was action all over the midfield. That Mclaren also looks quite competitive, would've been fun to see Alonso get to drive a car like that, instead of the shit shows he had to endure before. Also LUL @ Renault, they managed to fuck RB even without being their engine supplier.

Ricciardo said that he is happy at Renault cuz he suddenly has free time. He doesn't have to be at promotion events around the world all the time and can be at home too and spend time with friends and family more. So in a career pov it's worse probably, but for his life it could be better

This is not turbo BTW but the thing that recovers and puts energy from the battery into the turbo so you don't get turbo lag

I was referring only on the reliability side of his departure because it was funny how that didn't seem to have improved though it's early to draw any far reaching conclusions after two races. Of course there were other reasons, like not wanting to play second fiddle to Verstappen but to be the first driver. Anyone can see that going from Aston Martin to a Renault is a downgrade.

Kimi mentioned something similar about his move. Having less promotion events and politics and other shit. Which makes a driver happier

Even worse. Cylinder failure sounds like new engine after race #2.

Race itself was interesting to watch, but for some reason I felt bored at times. I just want to get rid of fuel limits and reintroduce refueling to see some real racing. All this tire and fuel management is unappealing to me in "the pinnacle of motorsport"
