You can actually "edit" the original Battle.swf file in vanilla, so that you don't need XVM in order to change your sixth sense image.

I know, but I am rather keeping it 100% clean, not to get teased by the possibilities again. One step could lead to the next one, trying to avoid that

Do you mean on how to use it ingame without XVM, editting Battle.swf ?

There's guides online on how to edit the battle.swf - Regarding ESL I have no clue sorry.

I made a mod some time ago which let's you add animated or static sixth sense icons without XVM, maybe you can make some use out of it: Click mee . It's now continued by aimdrol, you can find it under sixth sense

Doesn't ESL ban all kinds of mods nowadays? It used to be like that they have a "blacklist" of mods, but they abandoned it after they realised they cant enforce it.

Indeed. No mods of any sort in esl.

How does wg even enforce this? Trust people not to install any mods?

You have to install and run ESL Wire Anti Cheat for all matches. It's collecting and uploading game data to the esl servers.
