[HOW TO] Lock topics and update your forum groups

Postby Xen » 05 May 2014 17:58

Just 2 things you should know about the forum:

Locking topics:

Officers can lock their own topics by editing their post (not sure if it has to be the first one) and checking the "lock topic" checkbox. This is particularly important for hellfish who spams in the CW section.

Updating groups:

If you have been promoted in the clan (e.g. from recruit to soldier) relog on the forums using the WG openID to update your user groups. If it doesn't work contact me via PM or in this thread.

There is one tiny problem: Once i locked a thread, i can't unlock it or edit my own starting post. Can you do anything about that? I'd like to be able to update the sticky thread for the event.

1. This is the wrong place to post applications. They're posted here: viewforum.php?f=4
2. Your overall and recent stats are way below our requirements
3. You obviously didn't put much effort to the application considering it's in the wrong place and overall the application feels like it has been made in a hurry

Considering all these points, I can and will reject your application. Good luck finding a clan you like, and see you on the battlefield :SOA:

We have a whole forum section dedicated to applications conveniently called "clan applications", to apply one needs to make a post there.

I can pretty much already tell you that your level of proficiency in the English language is not sufficient to be considered so while you are welcome to try, I would caution you not to get your hopes up: your chances are slim to nil. We consider communication a most important part of clan-life.

Edit: swoopie swooped in first

This is basically a thread on the whole forum itself without a subcategory. You can see it everywhere. It's a common way of creating threads with rules which apply to all sections without having to post a thread per subcategory.
