Going to London for a quick trip, any tips?

As a warning to some of you simple minded, some heavy reading incoming!

I'm staying in London for 4 days at the beginning of March, which will be my second time there.
As I'm a museum fetishist, I'd like to hear about some less known and obscure ones, that are still interesting to the cultivated and autistic mind.
Last time, I went to some of the well knowns;
  • Imperial War Museum - 4/10, It looked good on the outside, but the collection was seriously low energy
  • Natural History Museum - 3/10, Same thing, it looks like an adventure from the outside, but inside it's a mix of 30% fossils, and 50% plastic replicas (wtf) and at the time 20% fucking chavkids. Sad. (This perfectly taken picture sum it up all my feelings about it: https://puu.sh/tQIGU/9b89a76a3b.jpg)
  • Science Museum - 6/10, was alright - science and shit. I don't remember much and it seems like I'm missing some pictures there, or I didn't take any...?
  • British Museum - 8/10, finally a proper museum, but I only had time to only cover 1/4 out of it, so might return, dunno
  • Bovington Tank Museum - 8/8, very high energy
  • Madame Tussauds - 2/10, must be childhood memories from the one in Amsterdam, but the wax sculptures here didn't look any similar at all to the actual person. Low quality and energy.
  • Sealife Aquarium - 7/10, I grew up on the coast, so I like the sealife, but there are better aquariums around.

Just to sum up that trip, I went to Paris at the same time, and those few museums I managed to scrape through there, since I had fewer days of disposal, especially since I found out the day after I arrived that the national day would happen when I was there, so that fucked up my day at the Musée de l'Armée, which made some of my soul die.
Still, I found this dank fossil museum, which actually contained of 100% fossils. (Pic related: https://puu.sh/tQIyC/205510e0b0.JPG - 1st level with current living animals and shit, and https://puu.sh/tQJ86/fb26e3d530.jpg - 2nd level with extinct shit. Can you find me?)

SOOOOOO.
Any ideas?

You have to see the Shakespeare Museum (?), it is in the first theater he ever worked, I think. Really interesting, you should google it.

I went to the Sherlock Holmes museum in London, not worth it. Just like you walk on a mini set with just nothing really. The rest of the museums I went to were the same as you. But London eye, don't try to get in its like more than an hour line for something meh. Also London dungeon wasn't worth the wait imo.

I did do London Eye, and I went for fast track pass (Seems like a comon thing here), and waited for like 10mins speeding past the normal queue which was dead still.
Feels good to shit oil.

Was thinking about Tower of London or something medieval of sorts. Isn't London Dungeon and Tower of London the same thing, or?
Oh wait, London Dungeon is that shit. Yeah, nah, I don't really find the entertainment in jumpscares.

I visited the Churchill War Rooms, but its pretty much Churchill Worshipping Rooms, was annoying.
You should visit the Tower of London though, it's really interesting, especially if you do the tour trough the tower with the tower guards. London Dungeons is not the same as the Tower.
You could also visit Westminster Abbey if you haven't done so yet, it's impressive.

in the end everything was overpriced and i was happy to leave. best part was ordering the cap and open the door towards a different direction --> wooooooooohhhhhhhhoooooooooo 10/10 D:

What kind of museums are we talking about here? Only scientific/history related, or would you be interested in art aswell?

Art is subjective low energy shait. I want high energy stuff. Something that you don't really see normally.
Basically something makes you go "holy fucking shit!", which was my reaction when I walked into that fossils museum in Paris.

I vaguely remember going to a botanical garden, was kinda fun. Not holy shit moments, if you are really interested in plants it's nothing for you as there were mostly plants that aren't very special or something. If you don't hate plants but aren't full autism on them either it might be fun and if you hate plants you will hate it because it's plants.

Definitly go to RAF Hendon, the RAF museum in the NW of London if you like your airplanes.
http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/thin ... nd-do.aspx
They have more planes on display than the Luftwaffe had flying in 1945 :P

haven't been here yet but it looks nice: http://www.rmg.co.uk/
and this one is a must see as well: http://www.tate.org.uk/visit/tate-modern (go for the building, the art there is just a bonus)

RAF Hendon mite be fun. I grew up in the same town as the Norwegian Aviation Museum, and the most active military airbase here, so airplanes I like.
The others, not so much. :D

VA Museum //haven't been - heard semi-positive reviews but might be boring af
Design Museum //nothing special, small and boring af (iirc)
Museum of Zoology //nice if you like animals
National Gallery //has some good chip shops next to it
Ridley's believe it or not //for the casuals
Tate modern gets my +1, but art so also gets my -1.
There's an Egyptian museum there too I think but can't remember the name, heard it's really good tho.
@Mokka, Globe Theatre I think

If you're looking for a nice place to spend the evening, Waxy O'Connor's gets my stamp of approval and iirc it's next to chinatown which is fucking amazing and gambling shit nearby, Comedy Store is also a good night. Basically just shoot for any spot and you're within walking distance of anything good.

Dont forget the most important thing:

When I was in London i was disgusted by KFC (had a bad experience before), while my friends liked it. So when they wanted to go there for lunch, I settled for an Oreo-smoothie.

Dude, it opened my eyes. I never had something like that and there is nothing even remotely comparable in Germany. So, if you go to London, have one of those, for me :)

@Eddie, yeah, Globe theatre. was pretty dank
